Early Elementary Data
We have seen tremendous growth in the area of reading at the Early Elementary! Please continue to read with your child every night for at least 20 minutes. Together we can make a difference!
Meal Pickup During Virtual Learning
Meal Pickups will be on Mondays from 3pm-6pm at the High School. Check the PPPS website, https://www.ppps.org/page/food-services or the Facebook page, Paw Paw Public Schools Food Service, for important information or time changes.
You MUST sign up to guarantee pickup. Email director Korrie Perkins: korrie.perkins@ppps.org to sign up. All kids under 18 are eligible.
Update Your Student's Contact Information
- Save the school's phone number in your phone so it is familiar to you if we need to contact you for any reason.
- Call the school office with a change of phone number, email address, mailing address or if you need to add/delete an emergency contact.
Be Prepared for the Weather
Don't forget to send your child with their winter coat, snow pants, boots, hat, scarf and mittens to keep them warm.
The office is unable to lend these items this year.
Student Attendance
- If your child will be absent from school, please be sure to call our absence hotline outside of school hours or directly to the main office during school hours.
- Medical appointment slips will excuse your child's absence. The excusal slip can be faxed or emailed to the school.
Absence Hotline: (269) 415-5398

Pickup/Bus Schedule
If you have any changes to your child's pickup or bus schedule please call the office by 2pm on full days and 11:15 am on half days. With the change of the 2020 school hours, the teachers do not always have time to check emails during school the day. Call the school office to relay any information you have given the teacher.
- PPEE Office Phone Number: (269) 415-5300
The same process should be used with the transportation office.
- PPPS Transportation Office: (269) 415-5220
Student Wellness
If your child is sent home from school with any symptoms, they may not return to school until the symptoms subside for a full 24hrs.
If your child goes to the doctor, the office will need a letter to dismiss your child's absence from school.
Winter Break Activities
Here are a couple of ideas:
- Read holiday stories as a family, taking turns reading pages or paragraphs.
- Write a newsletter for family members about holiday activities.
- Write a menu for a family meal.
- Read a story and practice using funny voices for the different characters.
- Write a movie review for a favorite movie or a product review for a favorite gift.
- Write "Thank You" notes.
- Make a game out of sign reading while traveling.
Please help your child get some practice during break so they are ready to show us how they are growing as readers, writers, and mathematicians.
