February Weekly Update ~ February 27, 2026
A note from Mr. Lee
At Carter Middle School, we believe strong schools are built on strong partnerships. One of the most important tools we use to strengthen that partnership is our annual Family Survey. I am asking every Carter family to take a few minutes to complete it.

Over the past two years, I have taken great pride in the progress we have made together at Carter. We have focused intentionally on keeping our school safe, engaging, and student-centered. From refining procedures and strengthening supervision, to enhancing Positive You lessons, RISE expectations, and student engagement opportunities, much of that growth has come directly from feedback provided by families like yours.
Your survey responses are not just collected. We look for patterns, strengths, and areas for improvement. We use the data to:
Improve safety procedures and communication
Strengthen student engagement and school culture
Enhance academic supports and interventions
Guide decision-making for programs and priorities
Align our work with what families value most
When families respond, it gives us a clearer picture of what is working and where we can grow. The more participation we have, the more accurate and meaningful the results become.
I am proud of the direction Carter is heading. Our focus on Respect, Individual Accountability, Safety, and Engagement continues to guide our work every day. Your voice helps ensure we stay aligned with our mission and continue building a school community that we can all be proud of.
Please take a few minutes this week to complete the survey. Your feedback truly makes a difference.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Mr. Lee
