Raider Nation News 2026
September 2026
Raider Families:
What an active and exciting September we have had at North Forsyth High School! Our Raiders have been busy, and we have accomplished so much already this school year.
Our classrooms have been filled with learning as students and teachers have worked diligently on the standards and skills that will help our students demonstrate mastery of the content on their upcoming midterms. We are proud of the effort our students are putting into their learning each day.
Outside the classroom, our athletic teams have celebrated some great wins, and we continue to see our Raider Pride shine brightly in both our wins and our losses. We are proud of the way our students represent North Forsyth and the commitment, teamwork, and spirit they bring to everything they do.
There are so many terrific things happening. We hope our students are finding ways to get involved, engage in their learning and activities, build friendships, and, most importantly, have fun as they experience high school. These are the years when students create memories and connections that will stay with them for years to come.
When we return from fall break, we will jump right into one of our favorite traditions—Homecoming Week! We have several exciting opportunities planned for our students to get involved and celebrate being a Raider:
Wednesday: Homecoming Parade
Thursday: Powder Puff
Friday: Pep Rally and Homecoming Game
Saturday: Homecoming Dance
We look forward to this special tradition every year and cannot wait to provide our students with opportunities to make lasting high school memories with their friends and classmates.
As you head into fall break, we hope you and your family have a wonderful, restful, and safe break. We look forward to welcoming your student back to school on October 5th as we kick off Homecoming Week!
We also want to highlight an important attendance date: Tuesday, October 6th. Please make sure your student is here and in attendance for all classes that day. We have some fun things planned, and we want every student to be able to participate!
As always, thank you for allowing us the privilege of working with and teaching your student. We are grateful for your partnership and support of North Forsyth High School. It is an honor to be part of your student's high school journey, and we look forward to all that is still ahead this year.
Have a wonderful and safe fall break, Raiders!
With Raider Pride,
Work Hard. Be Kind. Have Fun!
Go Raiders!

Partner Connect
Partner Connect is Forsyth County Schools' partnership program that brings our community into the classroom and connects students to meaningful experiences beyond school. Through local businesses, organizations, and volunteers, students gain access to mentorship, career exploration, guest speakers, and other enriching opportunities.
At North Forsyth High School, we are grateful for the many community partners who invest their time, talents, and resources in Raider Nation. Interested in getting involved? We'd love to connect with you through Partner Connect and continue creating opportunities for our students. Visit our website for more information and ways to connect.
Raider PRIDE
At North Forsyth High School, Raider PRIDE is our school-wide framework for fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Centered on the values of Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy, Raider PRIDE helps students develop the skills and character needed for success in school and beyond. Through consistent expectations, positive recognition, and meaningful relationships, we partner with families to ensure every Raider feels connected, valued, and prepared for the future.
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to earn Raider PRIDE points for demonstrating these values. Points can be redeemed through the Raider PRIDE Marketplace for items, experiences, and special events. Be sure to ask your student about some of last year's favorite activities and rewards—we're excited to build on that success during the upcoming school year!

Art in Education Week
Get ready to celebrate the creativity and talent throughout Raider Nation! We have a fun week planned to showcase the arts and give everyone a chance to join in.
Look for coloring sheets in the mailroom to use during Raider Time on Monday, test your knowledge with music trivia throughout the week, enjoy a live reading from Theatre, and catch student art, performances, and creative clips on the café TVs.
On Wednesday, use your Wellness session to add a little color to campus with sidewalk chalk art at the school entrance—supplies will be provided!
We’ll wrap up the week with a special Art Display at the front of the school, highlighting the creativity of our talented Raiders.
Let’s celebrate the artists, musicians, performers, and creative minds who make Raider Nation such a vibrant place!

Update
We are excited to announce our North Forsyth Athletics Athlete of the Month for August — Eleanor Sneddon! Eleanor has been a steady force at first base, and her numbers speak for themselves. She is currently hitting .455 with a .500 OBP, while leading the team with 8 home runs and 33 RBIs. She consistently delivers in the biggest moments and has proven to be one of the most dependable players in the Softball program. What truly sets Eleanor apart, however, is her commitment to being a student-athlete in every sense of the word. Along with her excellence on the field, Eleanor maintains an impressive 3.93 GPA in the classroom. Eleanor leads with maturity, competitiveness, and a willingness to step up when the game is on the line. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence make her not only a tremendous athlete, but also someone who represents North Forsyth Athletics exceptionally well. Congratulations to Eleanor Sneddon on being named our August Athlete of the Month!
Please join me in congratulating Eleanor on this well-deserved recognition.
