Safety Week
Each fall, Barrington 220 shares important safety lessons with our students and community during our annual Safety Week. Families, starting this coming Sunday and running through next Thursday, expect a daily email previewing the next day's lesson.
You can review a number of safety resources anytime on our District 220 Safety webpage.
We Appreciate Your Patience With Bus Delays
Families, as the significant road work on Route 14 continues, our transportation company is reminding everyone that pick up and drop off delays are to be expected, and may change from week to week. Make sure to download the My Ride K-12 app, which follows the bus in real time and can help prepare you for schedule adjustments on a given day.
Office Reminders
In the event that you need to contact the school office for any reason, especially with a change in dismissal plans, you will want to send an email to both of the administrative assistants in the Front Office. Those emails should be sent to: Katherine West, who replaced Mrs. Harwood last school year, and also, Dani Kusmerz, who took the place of Ms. Rand. Their email addresses are:
kwest@barrington220.org, and dkusmerz@barrington220.org. You are also welcome to call the main office at 847-381-4148.

The Early Act Club, along with the K-Lab families will be walking in the homecoming parade on Saturday, September 27, 2025. ALL Roslyn Bulldogs are welcome and encouraged to join us! Students will need to be with an adult. Please see details below:
The parade will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 27. We will all meet in the COMMUTER LOT AT THE BARRINGTON TRAIN STATION IN DOWNTOWN BARRINGTON. The parade will follow the traditional route from past years from Wool Street to Main Street, and west on Main Street toward BHS. Please be at the commuter lot at 9:45 a.m. When arriving the day of the parade, you will be designated a waiting area for your group. Look for the Roslyn sign and the Bulldog
Packs a Plenty
As we start the new year, please consider joining us for Barrington Children’s Charities P.O.P. program (Packs of Plenty), which provides eligible children with a bag full of nutritious food to eat over the weekend. This is a weekly event, but you can volunteer for a single day or become a regular!
Packing sessions are 9-10am at Sunny Hill Elementary, typically on Thursdays. This is a great way to get involved when it works for your schedule and truly make a difference.
