Subway Support
Thanks to our local Subway for providing meal certificates in promotion of students showing kindness and demonstrating what it means to be a Bobcat. Above are a few of our recipients from this past month.
Acts of Kindness
At each all school assembly we recognize a few students that have gone above and beyond around the school by showing kindness and support of others. Here is an amazing group of students that were recognized at our most recent assembly.
Comprehensive Needs Assessment: Family Survey
As a school that qualifies for Schoolwide Title funding, we complete a Comprehensive Needs Assessment every five years to help guide our goals, supports, and continuous improvement efforts. As we move through the spring semester, we are continuing this important process and are seeking feedback from our families through a brief survey.
We truly value your input and kindly ask that you take a few minutes to complete the survey linked below.
Your feedback plays an important role in shaping the future of our school.

Hy-Vee Receipts
Please keep sending us your Hy-Vee receipts! 🧾
Hy-Vee has a fantastic program that gives back to our school when we submit a certain amount of receipts—and we just received a kickback check this week! 🎉
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers, Kalee G. and Abigail H., for inputting all those numbers. It’s a tedious job, but it truly pays off in the end!
We’ve already started collecting for the next round, so keep sending those receipts in. Every single one makes a difference!
Attendance Matters
Daily attendance has a powerful impact on a child’s academic success and overall school experience. Each day builds on the next lessons, discussions, and connections with peers that can’t always be fully replaced. Even missing just two days a month adds up to nearly a month of lost learning over the course of a school year.
Being present every day helps students build strong routines, confidence, relationships, and momentum in their learning. Thank you for partnering with us to make daily attendance a priority!

Important Medary Updates
Student After School Plans
If your child’s after-school plans change, please give their teacher a heads-up before 2:00 PM. This ensures that we have ample time to make sure that any changes in plans are received in a timely manner and also helps us make sure that every student gets to the right place safely. Thanks for your help!
Birthday Treats
We love celebrating our students’ birthdays at school! To help keep our celebrations healthy and our learners energized, we ask that families choose nutritious, energy-packed snacks instead of cupcakes, cookies, or ice cream treats. Thank you for supporting a healthy and fun learning environment for all our students!
