Fisher Family Update
March 15, 2024

Dear Fisher Families,
The teachers and I want to thank you for joining us at the recent parent/teacher conferences. It is always great to have these conversations about our students, their progress and our goals for the rest of this school year. If you didn’t get an opportunity to meet with your student’s teacher, please contact them or the office and we’ll be happy to help schedule a meeting.
I would like to take a moment to celebrate the hard work and dedication we've been witnessing from our students since the February break. Students come to school everyday, ready to learn and give their best effort. They've been actively participating in discussions, completing assignments with care, and showing a genuine interest in expanding their knowledge.
We've also noticed how our students have been supporting each other, creating a positive and collaborative learning environment. They've been sharing ideas, helping their peers, and showing empathy and understanding towards one another. We look forward to encouraging our students to continue to strive toward our school’s core values of Show respect, Work cooperatively, Integrity first, Make good decisions with an upcoming and hopefully fun SWIM Challenge…more to come!
The teachers and I are very proud of the progress our students have made and the effort they've put into their learning. We believe that their hard work will continue to pay off, and we're excited to see them continue to grow and succeed throughout the last few months of the school year.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your student's education.
Have a great weekend,
Brian

Important Reminders from the Health Office
Children need to be fever free for 24 hours without the use of a fever reducing medication (ie Tylenol or Motrin) prior to returning to school. Please remember to keep your child home if they have vomited or had diarrhea until they are able to tolerate food and liquid and they are feeling better. Thank you for your effort and understanding in continuing to keep our Fisher community healthy.
If your child has sustained an injury and you are requesting that they remain out of PE or recess, they will need a note from the doctors office.
As always, any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me!
Best,
Mrs. Moyes
