Picture of the Week: Grade 2 Students walking to our "Crowning of Mary" Ceremony, which happens each year during the month of May, which is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The 2nd Graders led the ceremony, and did a wonderful job!
Bonus Picture of the week: Our Grade 8 Students at Gettysburg. They will be returning to school this afternoon after a full week in Washington D.C. Thank you to Mr. O'Connor and Mrs. Flynn for chaperoning the trip!
MAP Testing
This coming week, we will have MAP testing. MAP testing is our three-times-annual standardized testing, which we use to measure progress and target instruction. Students take tests in Reading Comprehension, Math, and Language Usage.
The Test Schedule is as follows:
- Grades 1-8 will test on Monday, May 11 thru Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
- K2 will test on Thursday, May 14, 2026 and Friday., May 15, 2026 as well as any students who have to make up a test.
Please make sure your children get a good nights sleep, eats a proper breakfast and are on time for school each day. Testing begins after morning prayer and announcements. If a student misses a day, they will be able to take a make-up exam later in the week.
Our Student Council is arranging a school dance on May 29th. The cost of entrance for the "family dance" portion of the evening is one can of food (non-perishable) which will be donated. For the 6-8th grade portion of the dance, the cost is $10, which includes pizza. Please join us for this great event!

A Huge THANK YOU From our Teachers!
Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, from the teachers! This Teacher Appreciation week has been such a great experience. Thank you to the volunteers, to the PA, and Especially to our PA Co-Chairs Marie and Mandy for all of their hard work making this week special!
Spirit Wear Fridays
Please keep in mind the dress code for Spirit Wear Fridays. Students can wear blue jeans, khaki chinos or their daily uniform. Leggings, yoga pants and cut out jeans are not allowed. Any shirt, sweatshirt or sweater with a Saint Peter School logo are allowed, provided that the logo item is worn and visible all day long. Parents will be notified if students are not dressed correctly.
Water Bottles
AS the weather gets warmer, please make sure that your child comes to school with a refillable water bottle. The middle school students can fill up their water bottles from the Poland Spring 5 gallon bottles and the elementary school students can do so at the water cooler stations. Every year, we go through thousands of disposable cups because students do not bring their water bottles to school; so please help us (and your child) out!
