A Message from Ms. Curry
Howdy Sandshore families,
We hope you all enjoyed the long weekend and managed to squeeze in some fall family fun between the raindrops! π§οΈπ
Weβve had lots of exciting things happening around Sandshore over the past few weeks!
We celebrated our Week of Respect with wonderful lessons from our counselors and some extra kindness around our school, thanks to our Kindness Ambassadors and their Chalk the Walk activity! π
We also kicked off our first SHSP-sponsored assembly of the year and welcomed a special visit from the Budd Lake Fire Department β complete with a REAL-LIFE DALMATIAN! πΎπ
Next week, weβre shifting gears to focus on bus safety! π Our amazing transportation team will be visiting each grade level to provide hands-on safety sessions right on the bus. We love these opportunities to help our students learn important skills that keep everyone safe!
As always, thereβs plenty of excitement ahead at Sandshore, so be sure to check out these upcoming events! π β¨

Attendance and Illness
Regular school attendance is essential for your child's academic progress and social development. Prioritizing consistent attendance helps students stay on track with learning and build strong relationships with peers and teachers.
However, we also prioritize the health of our school community. If your child is feeling unwell or has a fever, please keep them home. Students should remain at home for at least 24 hours after their fever has ended without medication. This helps prevent the spread of illness and ensures your child can return to school ready to learn.
Thank you for your support in fostering both your child's education and well-being.
Contacting Mrs. Herbst
If you have any questions for our school nurse, Mrs. Suzanne Herbst you can email her at suzanne.herbst@motsd.org or call her at x3485. Additionally you can text her on her MO phone at 862-419-2776.
