Cohort Update "Effort" 2022
"History in the Making" (5/10/21)
- Effort -
Greetings to the class 2022 and to the Warrior Nation,
Team we are winding down for this school year, but the race is far from over. Many battles are won or lost in the closing moments of competition and schooling is much the same. Be sure to put in the extra Effort this week so you have the best chances possible to earn the valuable credits you need to continue this journey towards completion. We have extended tutoring opportunities to 4 days per week as another layer of intervention and help for anyone who needs it. Teachers are accepting classroom assignments until May 24th to give each of you every chance to earn passing grades in your classes so use your time wisely. I am excited about what is to come, but I also need each of you to put all of your effort in until the end of this academic year. If you need anything please stop by or reach out to your cohort team and we will be there for you!
Have a super week and don't let anything get in the way of your greatness!!!
WC-Strong!
Much Love,
Mr. Russell - Cohort Dean

From Mrs. Boyd - your Cohort Secretary!!!
Did somebody say we only have 3 weeks of school remaining? Whaat!!!! OMG team, where has the time gone? All I know is, my juniors are ready to make HISTORY by being the 1st class to stay together as a cohort for 4 years in the history of WCHS! What an Effort you all have put in thus far and I know you will continue making strides to be the best class that Warren has ever seen. Push hard y 'all for these last few days and let's get to the finish line together! You are capable...you are ready...and WE have your backs!
Remember, If you have a new phone number, email address or new address where you live please get that information to me as soon as possible. If you have moved or your address has changed you must provide me with a new lease or mortgage and utility bill information.
Work permits are still being accepted. You can come by with your completed forms and I will look up all of your information to see if you will granted permission to be employed and earn some good money this semester. FYI...school work comes first!
You have 24 hours each day to make moves, use your time wisely!!!

- From Ms. Reynolds & Mr. Howe -
The Effort we need from the class of 2022....
Team, we've got just a few weeks remaining in this academic year and we need your to put all of your Effort into finishing what we started. DON'T STOP NOW! The game can still be won or lost in the last few minutes, so keep that effort up for these last few weeks to make sure you finish strong.
As we prepare for our senior year, make sure that effort starts on point from day one. Waiting until mid semester or later to be concerned about credits and pathways will only lead to months of stress and trying to get caught up. We want you all to focus on enjoying your last year of high school and making those connections that will help propel you into the next phase of life so put the effort in now. Let's start strong, stay strong, and finish strong! You can do it!
It is critical that each of you remember to check your emails at least a few times each week to stay informed and connected. There is a lot of information that's going to come your way in the weeks to come to ensure that you are ready for graduation. Please don't miss any opportunities, so get in the habit now of staying current with communication from the school.
If you have a questions about what's going on and you're not sure where to look, the 2022 Cohort Canvas page is a great place to start (it's also located at the bottom of this newsletter)!
Please remember to reach out to Mr. Fletcher with questions about SAT/ACT, fee waivers, scholarships, college applications, and all things related to preparing to continue your education. gfletche@warren.k12.in.us
Don't forget that we love you...
Don't forget that we're proud of you...
Most importantly, don't forget to love and be proud of yourself!
We LOVE you 2022...
