Community Celebration

What an incredible time of celebration and recognition we’ve had at St. John’s! Our recent Community Celebration on November 22nd was brimming with joy, achievements, and so many reasons to feel proud of our amazing students and staff.

League Champions Alert! Huge congratulations to our St. John’s Girls Volleyball Team for their outstanding performance and victory as League Champions! Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork have inspired us all—way to go, ladies!

Our P.A.W.S. Recognitions highlighted our students who truly exemplify St. John’s School Values. We are so proud of these shining stars who make our school a better place each day.

Finally, the entrance hallway has been transformed into a showcase of excellence with our updated Journey Wall. Congratulations to all our writers for sharing their gifts and inspiring others with your words.

Let’s keep celebrating these wins and the vibrant spirit of our school community. Thank you all for being part of what makes St. John’s such a special place.

Go St. John’s!

Reminders: Student Safety

We kindly ask for your attention to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone in our school community:

  • Morning Drop-Off: The morning school bell rings at 8:15 AM. If you are dropping off your student after this time, please accompany them to the front office to sign them in.

  • Afternoon Pick-Up: The school day ends at 3:15 PM. If you need to pick up your student before this time, kindly sign them out at the front office.

  • After-Hours Supervision: For the safety of all children, any child remaining on campus after school hours—whether attending a basketball game or any other activity—must be under the supervision of an adult. This policy applies to all students on campus at all times.

  • Youth Group Students: Students arriving for youth group earlier than 6:25pm must still be supervised by an adult before coming to youth group.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and organized environment for our students.

Operation Christmas Child Update

We are filled with gratitude and joy as we share the results of this year’s Operation Christmas Child campaign. Together, our incredible community contributed 175 boxes—a combination of physical boxes and online donations.

We also want to celebrate and thank Renewal Church, a part of St. John’s ministry, for their amazing contribution of 217 boxes.

Altogether, our ministry family collected 392 boxes. These gifts will travel across the globe, bringing joy, hope, and the message of Christ’s love to children in need. Your generosity and participation have made a meaningful impact, and we are so thankful for every box packed, every prayer offered, and every effort made to support this mission.

Tickets are still available for our St. John's School Christmas Special: on December 18, 2024

We are putting the final touches on our long-awaited combined Christmas celebration: Christmas in Harmony. Students from our Kindergarten through Fifth Grade classes will fill the air with joyful music, under the direction of Mrs. Mari Koester and Mrs. Nissa Newsome. Adding to the festive spirit, our middle school drama class, led by Dr. Erica Flesher and Mr. Matthew Walton, and our Handbells Elective, led by Miss Krystal Thompson, will present a beautiful dramatization of the nativity story, bringing the Gospel to life in a moving and memorable way. This joyful celebration will feature many beloved Christian songs, giving you the chance to sing along to cherished carols and reflect on the journey of Joseph and Mary, and the birth of Jesus.

With most of our school participating, we are offering two performances:

  • Tuesday, December 17, 6:30 pm SOLD OUT
  • Wednesday, December 18, 9:15 am SEATS STILL AVAILABLE

Both shows will require complimentary tickets for entry. If possible, we kindly ask that those with more flexible schedules, including grandparents, consider attending the Wednesday morning presentation. This will help ensure everyone can enjoy the event comfortably. We have limited the number of tickets to 6 tickets per family.

We hope you will join us for a time of music, reflection, and celebration of the true meaning of Christmas!
