Acacia Elementary School

Thank you for another great week! The cooler weather made for a much more enjoyable week, and our Pandas are thriving!

Fall conferences are the week of 9/21-9/25. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is a full conference day, so students do not attend school that day. During conferences, we will discuss your child’s progress thus far. This is also a time to discuss GATE screening for students in 3rd-7th grade. If you are interested in the screening process for your child, please discuss this with your child’s teacher during your conference.

We are also looking forward to our first Family Picnic of the year on Friday, September 25, from 11:30 a.m.–12:25 p.m. All families are invited to join their students for lunch! As a reminder, umbrellas and EZ-Ups are not permitted during the picnic. We hope to see you there!

Warmly,

Rachel McCormick

Principal

SPORT CLASH DAY!

Wednesday, September 9th

Acacia Elementary School Get ready for our first Student Leadership Spirit Day of the year! Choose your favorite sport and dress like a player or fan. We will be tallying up the costumes to see which sport reigns supreme at every grade level! We cannot wait to see which teams you represent! Please remember to follow the school dress code. For the safety of our pandas, please do not bring any sports equipment like bats, balls, helmets, sticks, or cleats. Let's start the year with lots of energy and Acacia pride! As a reminder, please ensure students follow the school dress code.
