Principal's News
A big shoutout to Mrs. Jamali’s first grade class—every single student is now a proud member of the Principal’s Reading Club! Each reader selected a special book to read aloud to me, and they did an amazing job. I was so impressed with their confidence, expression, and love for reading. Each student earned a certificate and a prize to celebrate this exciting accomplishment. I’m so proud of these fantastic first grade readers and can't wait to read with our other first grade classes soon!

Nurse's News
Seasonal Allergies: often called hay fever or allergic rhinitis, affect millions of children and adults each year. These allergies are triggered by airborne pollen from trees, grasses, and weeds during certain times of the year. Common symptoms include sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itchy eyes, throat, or ears, and coughing. For students, these symptoms can impact concentration, attendance, and overall well-being.
Stay informed about daily pollen levels through weather websites or apps.
Stay indoors during peak pollen times, usually early morning and windy days.
Keep windows closed at home and in the car to prevent pollen from entering.
Shower and change clothes after outdoor activities to remove pollen from hair and skin.
Hydration: Proper hydration helps regulate body temperature, maintain energy levels, and support overall bodily functions. Dehydration can lead to fatigue, dizziness, and more serious health issues such as heat exhaustion or heatstroke.
Sun Safety: As the weather warms up, outdoor activities become more enticing. Remind your child to apply sunscreen before heading outside to protect against harmful UV rays. Encourage the use of hats and sunglasses for added protection, especially during peak sun hours.
If you have any concerns about your child's health, or illnesses that may occur during the school year, please notify the school nurse at 781-319-3985.
