WE NEED YOU! HELP MAKE THIS YEAR'S BIGGEST FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS!
Our biggest annual fundraiser is just around the corner, and we need YOU! We are looking for additional committee members and event volunteers to help make this year's event another huge success!
Our dedicated event planners have worked hard year after year to make this fundraiser possible, but they can't do it alone. We need additional hands, fresh ideas, and helping hearts to keep this important fundraising tradition going!
Here's what you need to know:
π
Event Date: Saturday, February 6, 2027
π Location: Allamakee Pavilion Center
π€ Volunteer Commitment: Approximately 5β7 evening planning meetings, along with additional planning and setup during event week.
WHY DOES YOUR HELP MATTER?
Every dollar raised goes right back into improving and maintaining SPCS! Funds raised this year will help us:
Install air conditioning in our upper building.
Update the flooring in our lower building.
Install new windows in our lower building.
These improvements help us provide an updated, comfortable, and welcoming learning environment for our students and staff.
READY TO GET INVOLVED?
If you are interested in helping plan this year's event or volunteering your time, please reach out to one of our committee members: Chelsea Rodas, Jodi Sweeney-Egeland, Ashley Schulte, Jessie Corwin, or Shawna Kolsrud. You can also contact Mrs. Koenig!
OUR NEXT PLANNING MEETING:
Tuesday, November 24th at 5:15 PM
St. Patrick Catholic School Library
Whether you can help with planning, organizing, decorating, setup, or working the event, WE NEED YOU!
Thank you for continuing to support SPCS. Together, we can make a BIG difference
Saint of the Month Award
π βCaught Living Like a Saintβ π
St. Francis of Assisi
Congratulations to our students who were recognized as our Saints of the Month for living like St. Francis of Assisi!
St. Francis of Assisi reminds us to live with love, kindness, humility, and compassion toward all of God's creation. He showed us the importance of caring for others, helping those in need, respecting all living things, and finding joy in the simple blessings God gives us each day. His life teaches us to be peacemakers and to share God's love through our words and actions.
Our Saint of the Month recipients have been Caught Living Like a Saint by showing kindness, helping others, caring for God's creation, including those around them, serving with a willing heart, and treating others with love and respect.
We are so proud of these students for following St. Francis's example and being reminders of how we can all Learn, Love, and Light the Way each day! π
Keep Living Like a Saint! ππ
PAW-SOME READERS πΎπ
We are so proud of all our October Readers! Thank you for making time to read, grow, and discover new stories throughout the month. Keep up the great work, Wildcats! πΎπ

- Reading at home for just 15β20 minutes a day can help children build vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
π Reading and Faith Go Hand in Hand!
Books can help children learn about kindness, compassion, courage, forgiveness, service, and love virtues we are called to live out each day.

SPCS Gala Event
The SPCS Gala is our biggest fundraising event of the year and a wonderful opportunity for parents, parishioners, alumni, and community members to come together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and support for our school! This special adults-only evening offers a relaxed, casual atmosphere where you can enjoy great food, exciting auction items, and, most importantly, connect with other SPCS families and members of our parish and community. Whether you are new to our school or have been part of the SPCS family for years, it is a wonderful opportunity to build friendships and strengthen our school community! The Gala features several exciting components, including raffles, silent auction, and an evening of dinner and live auction excitement!
Our amazing Gala committee, made up of dedicated parent volunteers, works hard behind the scenes to bring this special event to life. Their time, creativity, and generosity help make the evening a success year after year!
Every contribution, donation, and ticket purchased makes a difference in supporting our school and providing meaningful opportunities for our students. We are so grateful for your partnership and look forward to an evening of laughter, friendship, and celebration with our SPCS family!
