We are back in the office and ramping things up over here! Read below for a few important updates so you can be ready to dive in. We will continue to share new information on Fridays.

We are excited about our schedule for this year and proud of the process that has influenced it. To connect with us further about this schedule, join us Tuesday, August 10 at 7pm for a live virtual presentation (Zoom Link) where there will be time for your questions!

On registration day, families will be able to explore the building and have an opportunity to complete the online registration in MiStar (feel free to complete this in advance!). Students will receive their schedules and laptops, get their new student IDs as a part of getting their school picture taken, pay for athletic and parking passes (students will be assigned parking spots this year!), make a PTO donation, purchase class t-shirts, and more! We look forward to seeing you!

August Registration Dates & Times*

• 11th & 12th Grades: Monday, August 16, 9:00am-Noon in PCHS Commons

• 9th & 10th Grades: Thursday, August 19, 9:00am-Noon in PCHS Commons

*If you cannot attend on your grade's assigned day, you may join us on the other day. If you are unable to make either registration day, make-up picture day will be September 10, student schedules will be accessible via MiStar after you complete the online registration (which should be accessible by Friday, August 13), and most forms and donation opportunities will be shared digitally via a late August version of this newsletter. Feel free to come in the week of August 23 for a parking and/or athletic pass.

School Picture Information

Students will have their school picture taken as a part of this registration day. See the flyer below for picture package options. You may order in advance at https://orders.kaiserstudio.com/ using the code PINCKHS21. Hard copies of the order form will also be available at registration.

Not able to make registration? Make-up picture day will be September 10 during the school day!

Due to various start dates among our five districts, below are the start dates of CTE classes across the county. If you are enrolled in an out-of-district CTE class, you are strongly encouraged to attend your CTE class on the first day listed below regardless of whether PCHS starts at the same time. Out-of-district students who are not able to attend on the first day listed below may need to work with their teacher for any content or homework missed.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS - All out-of-district students are "highly encouraged" to begin on the dates listed below, regardless of their home high school's start date. Students will be given the time to make up work if they are not able to attend their out-of-district CTE program before their district's start date.

** In some cases, there are minimum hours, and/or certification requirements, that will not be met if the student starts late, and therefore certifications or licenses may not be obtained.

**Cosmetology begins 9/8

CTE students will receive CTE packets on registration day which will provide the rest of the information necessary to engage in their CTE class.

• Full-Day Schedule: 7:30am-2:30pm
• Half-Day Schedule: 7:30am-10:55am
• Friday Early Release Schedule: 7:30am-1:09pm
• PCHS is a closed campus. Only those approved to leave the building (i.e. for CTE, Dual Enrollment, Co-Op, sign-out) may exit the building during school hours through the North or South entrances or the Athletic doors. This is in service of ensuring all students are safely where they should be!
• If running late to school, or arriving to school mid-day due to dual enrollment or CTE, students need to park in the Main Entrance lot (South side) in order to sign in at the Main Office. The North doors will be locked after 7:45am.
• Students are now assigned parking spots as a part of purchasing a parking pass. Make sure you're parking in your spot!
