Spirit Week - Twin Day
DOUBLE TROUBLE ALERT! JC was seeing double (and sometimes triple!) during our spirit week!
From sporty gear to graphic tees to sparkly ensembles that could blind you from space – our JC kids went ALL OUT with their twinning game!
But Twin Day wasn't just about fashion statements – it was about FRIENDSHIP and SCHOOL SPIRIT!
Spirit Week also included other themes such as Sports Day, Favorite Character, Express Yourself and School Spirit.
Thank you to all that participated and made this week special!
Science Night 🔬
Science Night Spectacular! 🚀🔬
What an INCREDIBLE turnout for our Science Night! Our Pre-K through 5th grade scholars transformed into young scientists as they explored stations packed with hands-on experiments throughout the building.
The school gymnasium was transformed into a huge science lab as students launched rockets, chatted with real doctors while using stethoscopes, discovered the fascinating world of germs, created colorful slime gak, made rainbows appear, and engineered protective devices for the ever-popular egg drop challenge!
Our amazing high school volunteers did a fantastic job supervising each station and guiding our curious young scientists through the experiments. Their enthusiasm and knowledge made the evening even more special.
This wonderful family event was the perfect way to ignite scientific curiosity and get those scientist juices flowing! Thank you to Elspeth, Lisa and everyone who participated in making Science Night such a tremendous success!
A Grand Day of Connections - Grandparents Day! COMING SOON
3rd Grade Botanical Garden Center Trip 🌼
Our third graders enjoyed a wonderful field trip to the Greenwich Botanical Center, where they explored plant life and learned about horticulture, conservation, and the arts through engaging hands-on activities. The students were fascinated by the beautiful gardens and gained valuable insights about our natural environment from the center's knowledgeable volunteers.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Hohl, Mrs. Grandinetti, Mrs. Re, and all the parent volunteers who made this enriching experience possible for our young botanists!
Horizons at Brunswick
Horizons at Brunswick provides summer program for boys from the Greenwich Public Schools from Kingergarten through Grade 8. Julian Curtiss currently has 15 boys enrolled in the program which is funded through private donations. We are encouraging students to "earn" money by performing chores around the house and then donating the money on May 16, 2025. See QR code below to make a donation! We appreciate your support!

Book of the Month đź“– - IMAGINE
In celebration of National Poetry Month, we are proud to share imagine by former U.S. Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera—a poetic and powerful picture book that invites children to dream of the possibilities in their own lives.
With soft, expressive illustrations by Caldecott Honoree Lauren Castillo, imagine follows Herrera’s journey from a young boy working in the fields with his family to becoming a celebrated poet. Each page is a gentle, rhythmic invitation to wonder, reflect, and dream:
"Imagine what you could do..."
This New York Times bestseller speaks to every dreaming heart and encourages students to think big, embrace who they are, and know that their words—and their dreams—matter.
Ask your child: What do you imagine for your future? Their answer might just be the start of a beautiful story.
If you’d like to join in celebrating this inspiring poem, please check out this clip where Juan Felipe Herrera reads "Imagine" from his inaugural reading as U.S. Poet Laureate.
