TEAM UP against Drugs Dress Down

This week we are be celebrating Red Ribbon Week here at DeSales! Red Ribbon Week is centered around wellness and drug free lifestyles. Each student will receive a Red Ribbon to join this movement.

Thursday, October 26th - TEAM UP against Drugs - students may dress out of uniform and wear their favorite sports team gear.

Someone will win $5,000... will it be you?? Get your tickets to this year's HSA Cash Raffle! The virtual Cash Raffle drawing will take place on November 17th!

This year we have partnered with Briar Brothers Brewing Company! If you purchase 3 Cash Raffle Tickets for $125, you will get an awesome 4 pack of Briar Brothers Microbrew! (pick up only on 11/17 at DeSales)

ANNUAL EARLY RELEASE DRILL

DeSales will be conducting an annual exercise of its emergency early dismissal plan.

This exercise will be conducted on Friday, November 3, 2023.

All students in the full day preschool programs and students in K-8 will be released 15 minutes earlier than their regularly scheduled dismissal time. If your child rides the bus they may arrive home 15 minutes earlier. Parents who pick up should plan on arriving 15 minutes early.

September Character Virtue - Welcoming

This morning Mrs. Rahill recognized students for helping to make DeSales a welcome and warm place. These students exemplified the September Character Virtue of welcoming.

Congratulations Caroline Webster, Olivia Dembowski, Josephine Wolck, Ben Harper, Annie McCabe, Emma Haseley and Harrison Robb.

Halloween - Tuesday, October 31st

We will celebrate Halloween in school on Tuesday, October 31st. All students may dress in their Halloween Costumes. Students will still be expected to learn before/after their classroom parties, costumes should be comfortable and adhere to dress code. Please no Halloween masks/covered faces, or weapons.

If you have questions about your child's classroom party, please reach out to your room parent/classroom teacher.

HSA DeSales Trunk or Treat 2023 - Thank you!

Thank you to the families who joined us whether you decorated a trunk or brought your family to trick or treat- you are all appreciated! A big thank you to the many volunteers who so passionately plan and prepare this special night for us all. Thank you Natalie Cardinal for Chairing a successful event and to Marnie Morello who shared her years of love and expertise.
