Q1 Week 8: Earthquake drill Wed. No school Thu or Fri. Q1 ends Oct 28.
Principal Batten's Weekly Message
I hope that you and your family had a relaxing and safe weekend, with all of the crazy weather that we had. This is a shorter week for students, as there is No School for students on Thursday or Friday. Staff have a required PD workday Thursday, and an Optional workday Friday.
Changemaker Trait of the Month: Respect
OCTOBER: Respect begins with the way we treat one another each day. When we listen, value different perspectives, and speak with kindness, we help create schools where everyone feels welcome and valued. This October, we encourage our students and staff to show RESPECT through their words and actions, knowing that small choices can make a meaningful difference for others. Nominate a student, staff, or family member who demonstrates RESPECT during October.
Last Thursday, V3A students were invited to participate in our Fall Experiential Learning Day - creating Vision Boards, decorating pumpkins with literary themes, and making fidget keychains. We hope to do another in-person Experiential Learning Day again in December before the winter holiday.
We appreciate the following high school students who volunteered and helped with the activities:
- RaJhon Champion
- Linda Aleshire
- Jose Cruz
- Andy Francisco Sanchez
- Anijah Hodge
- Ty'Rihanna Holden
