πŸš— Traffic & Parent Loop Procedures πŸš— Traffic & Parent Loop Procedures

  • ⚠️ IMPORTANT DROP-OFF RULE: NO student drop-offs or pick-ups are permitted in the main parking lot, along Highway DD, or in the Sommerlin neighborhood. All vehicles must use the front Parent Loop.

  • ⏰ Pro-Tip for Morning Arrival:

    • Doors open bright and early at 6:15 AM (Classes begin at 7:35 AM).
    • The Parent Loop gets busiest between 7:15 AM and 7:35 AM. Arriving before 7:15 AM is the best way to beat the rush and give your student plenty of time to get to class!

  • 🚘 Parent Loop Guidelines:

    • Follow the Route: Take the outer perimeter path all the way around the school grounds.

    • Pull All the Way Forward: Drive as far up the sidewalk as possibleβ€”FMS staff members will be outside directing you where to stop!

    • Load & Exit Safely: In the afternoon, once your student is safely loaded, carefully merge into the left lane to exit.

  • πŸ…ΏοΈParking Lot Pass Required: Entrance into the main parking lot during drop-off/pick-up hours is strictly restricted to vehicles displaying an official FMS Parking Lot Pass. Contact Dr. Kathryn Greer if you have special circumstances requiring a pass.
A bright yellow rectangular sign displaying black text and graphics. The text reads "FMS PARKING LOT DROP OFF & PICK UP" in large, bold, uppercase letters on the left. In the top-right corner, six right-pointing arrows (>>>>>>) point toward the right edge. On the bottom right, there is a black graphic of a car viewed from the front, positioned below a circled letter "P" symbol. A faint, watermark-style eagle head logo appears in the background behind the text.

Drop-off and Pick-up Parking Pass

Parking lot entry during morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up is strictly reserved for permitted vehicles only

An aerial satellite map displays the designated traffic flow for student drop-off and pick-up at Frontier Middle School, with white directional arrows overlaid across the roadways to guide drivers. Vehicles enter the school grounds from the road at the bottom-left corner and follow a perimeter path toward the right side of the campus. From there, traffic proceeds north along the eastern edge of the building, loops around a wide turnaround area at the top right, and heads south back toward the front of the school. The route then turns left to run along the main entrance side before directing drivers back toward the exit. A prominent red banner with white text overlaid across the main parking lot at the bottom of the map clearly reads, "No student drop off or pick up in parking lot." Additional white arrows indicate that vehicles exiting this parking lot must merge directly into the designated perimeter traffic loop.

Follow the white directional arrows around the outer loop to drop off along the front office sidewalk. REMINDER: No student drop-off or pick-up is allowed in the red-highlighted main parking lot.

Bus Transportation & Stopfinder App Bus Transportation & Stopfinder App

Is your student a bus rider? Stopfinder is the WSD transportation app for bus-riding families. It provides families with convenient access to their student’s transportation information and is the district’s primary source for transportation notifications.

Read about the Stopfinder app and how it can work for you by turning on notifications, which are not automatically set up, or sharing access to route information with caregivers.

  • Turn On Notifications: Push notifications are not automatically enabledβ€”be sure to turn them on in your app settings so you don't miss route alerts or delay notices.
  • Share Route Access: Easily share access to route and schedule information with family members or secondary caregivers directly in the app.
  • Route Setup: View assigned bus stop locations and schedules inside FOCUS or through the Stopfinder app invitation sent to your email on file.
