Theatre 1: 10 Minute Play Festival

The 10 Minute Play Festival is a fun-filled night of performances from Theatre 1 students. Students have been hard at work in rehearsals during class time, learning their lines, practicing their movement on stage, and working with their props and costume pieces. Students have been encouraged to wear a "base" costume of their own clothes from home that aligns with their character. Accessories and necessary costume pieces have been provided by Huffines costume closet.

Below are some important dates regarding the 10 Minute Play Festival:

• Dress Rehearsal: May 5th, after school until 6:30pm, Huffines Cafeteria
• Performance : May 6th, 6:30-7:30pm, Huffines Cafeteria

-- Student Call Time - 5:30pm to get into costume, set props, and warm up

• 1st Period - Princess Paradigm & the Pea
• 4th Period - The Boy Who Cried Wolf (On Old Mac Donald's Farm)
• 6th Period - Family Justice
• 7th Period - The Kids & the Fairy Tree
• 8th Period - The Bremen Town Mash Up

If you would like to volunteer to assist with the 10 Minute Play Festival, I would greatly appreciate the help and it is a great way to show your student you support their passion for performing! Volunteers will help with set up, transitioning each class's performance during the festival, and cleaning up or "striking" after the performance.
