A message from our School Nurse, Mrs. Carey:
Welcome back! I am so excited to see the kids
New to GVS?
You should have received an email from SNAP. SNAP is the CONFIDENTIAL medical records program I use for all students. To learn more about the ins and outs of SNAP, please check out the school website under “school nurse”. If you still have questions, please don’t hesitate to email me!
Returning to GVS?
Please don’t forget to renew permission for medications, and permission to treat. These have to be renewed every school year. You may also upload any recent physicals and immunizations as well.
Be looking for information on the Lion’s Club Vision screening. We are scheduled for Sept. 29th. If we have a lot of students to screen, we will also have Oct. 1st. However, if we get through everyone on the 29th, they will not return on the 1st.
My website has a ton of information, please feel free to peruse. If there is a topic not covered , simply ask! Email is best as I may be busy with a student.

Grantham Village School, the Grantham School District/SAU 75, and the Grantham School Board proudly partner with various non-profit and community organizations to enrich our students' experience. Please note that while we include information about these organizations for communication and community awareness, they do not represent or act on behalf of the Grantham Village School, the Grantham School District/SAU 75, or the Grantham School Board in any official capacity.
My name is Ty Simons, and I’m the Director of Education and Community Engagement at the New London Barn Playhouse. I’m reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for students in our local elementary-school community this fall!
This fall, the Barn is thrilled to present Shrek the Musical KIDS, an energetic and hilarious musical adaptation of the beloved story that celebrates friendship, individuality, and being exactly who you are.
We are currently welcoming young performers to join us for this special production, and we would love to invite students and families from your school community to be part of it!
SHREK THE MUSICAL KIDS
New London Barn Playhouse
Fall 2026
Open to elementary-aged students
Singing • Acting • Dancing • Ensemble Performance
This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to experience the joy of musical theater while building confidence, creativity, collaboration, and performance skills. Students will work with professional theater educators and artists in a supportive, encouraging environment while becoming part of a full theatrical production.
We would be incredibly grateful if you would consider sharing this opportunity with your school community—whether through your PTO newsletter, school email, social media, website, or directly with families who you think might be interested.

We want to make sure that families throughout our local community know that this opportunity is available to them, and your help spreading the word would mean so much to us.
Thank you for all that you do to support the young people in our community. We hope to see some of your students on the stage at the Barn this fall!
