Jaguar Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Fall Break and enjoyed some time to relax, recharge, and make special memories with family and friends. It was great to welcome our Jaguars back to school and see the excitement and energy they brought with them this week.

We are well into the first quarter, with just a couple of weeks remaining before it comes to a close. This is a great time for students to stay focused, continue giving their best effort, and finish strong. Every day matters, and I am confident our Jaguars will continue to work hard and climb higher as they wrap up the quarter.

In addition to all the great learning taking place each day, we have several activities and events happening throughout the month of October. Please take a few moments to review the important dates and upcoming opportunities to stay connected and involved in our school community.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s make these final weeks of the quarter our best yet and continue to #ClimbHigher together!

Have a great week!

We love celebrating students who are willing to take on new challenges, share their talents, and #ClimbHigher. Neha B. did just that when she entered the 2026 Plains Peanut Festival Postcard Contest, sponsored by the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park. Students from across the country were invited to create original artwork around the theme, "Shell-ebrating 250 Years of America – One Peanut at a Time." This opportunity was shared in a previous Hilltop Happenings, and she took advantage of it!

We're excited to share that Neha's postcard was selected as a winning entry from more than 3,000 submissions nationwide. Her creativity, attention to detail, and artistic talent helped her stand out among students from across the country.

As part of this special recognition, Neha traveled to Plains, Georgia, where she received a certificate honoring her achievement and participated in the Plains Peanut Festival Parade. She even wore a jaguar top! We are incredibly proud of the way she represented Hilltop and demonstrated what it means to #ClimbHigher.

Congratulations, Neha, on this well-deserved accomplishment! 🎉🐾

🏔️ Together We Climb! – Annual Fundraiser

Our Jaguars did it! 🎉 Thanks to the incredible support of our Abbotts Hill families and community, we not only reached our $25,000 goal—we exceeded it, raising approximately $33,000!

This is our ONLY fundraiser of the year, and we are so grateful for everyone who donated, shared fundraising pages, and helped spread the word. We are excited about all the wonderful things these funds will allow us to do for our students, staff, and school this year!

If you received donations over Fall Break, there is still time to add them online. The fundraising page will close at midnight tonight!

Don’t forget about employer matching! It’s not too late! Employer matches are a great way to double the impact of your donation. If your employer offers matching donations, please email abbottshillpta@gmail.com for more information.

🏆 Experience Prizes: Now that the fundraiser has wrapped up, we will begin working on the schedule for all experience prizes once final numbers are confirmed. We will communicate dates and details with families as soon as they are available.
