SY 26-27 Elementary Alternative Schedule Dates and Explanation

Alternate Schedule Plan for 2026–2027 To make sure all students get equal learning time throughout the year, there are times we adjust the schedule when there's a day off (like a Monday holiday). Instead of skipping that day, we ‘move’ the missed day to another day that week. This way, classes l...

Reminder to be Neighborly

Please be mindful of our neighbors’ driveways during school drop-off and pick-up. We know things can get busy, but avoid blocking driveways—even for a few minutes—so residents can safely get in and out of their homes.

Thank you for helping us be good neighbors and for keeping the drop-off and pick-up process safe and respectful for everyone in our community!

Parent-Only Event:

Dear Bell-Graham Families,

Each year we look forward to welcoming you into the building for Curriculum Night. During that time, we share curriculum resources, curriculum updates, as well as a few other important pieces of information. This year we are taking a slightly different approach to Curriculum Night presentations. We would like to use this time to share with you what it means to be a student in our school and in our classrooms. We’d like to give you a more authentic glimpse into what your child’s day looks like and how we are supporting the whole child, beyond just their academics. This is our one time during the year to express in person how much we value the home-school partnership. It also will give us a chance to share with you how we, as a BG staff, work collaboratively in all aspects of your child’s day.

In order to ensure we can spend our limited time together on these important topics, we will be sharing the curriculum content slide decks with you for you to review at your convenience. Parents are welcome to reach out to their child’s teacher with questions regarding curriculum content after reviewing the slide decks.

We look forward to seeing everyone at this Parent Only event.

On the Attendance screen, click Report Absence in the upper right corner.

In the Report Absences window:

  1. Select the Type of Absence: All Day, Arrive Late, or Leave Early. Middle and high school families also have a Classes option for specific class periods.
  2. Confirm the Start Date. It defaults to the current date.
  3. Choose a reason from the Select A Reason dropdown.
  4. Enter an explanation in the Note field. This field is required.
  5. Use Add doctor’s note or document to attach a physician note or other documentation, if applicable.
  6. Click Save.

Submitting an absence sends a request to the school office. It is not recorded until office staff accepts it, at which point it appears on your student’s attendance record.

After your child completes testing, results can be accessed electronically.

Please note that the For Families diagnostic results report is easily accessible from your child’s i-Ready dashboard. In lieu of being backpacked home, this will be considered the primary method for providing these results to you. Please click the button for directions on how to access the report.

Please note: The code for accessing reports is only good for the current school year. Once the school year is over the code no longer works, so please print or download your student’s report as soon as possible.

Parent Resource Form

In D303, we value the opportunity to provide a community of care and support to our families, especially those faced with financial hardship.

If you would like to be considered for any of these supports, please complete Family Resource Form by September 11, 2026.
