Annual Team Picnic & Group Swim at Lake Jocassee
Coaches Message
What an awesome summer it has been for Greenville Splash. Our annual team picnic was so much fun and we had a great turnout. We had record turnouts at our group open water swims. Our team had an awesome showing at the new long course meet in Columbia. We had a blast cheering for each other and getting to know each other better. I believe my favorite event this summer was our Shark Week Workout. It's always fun to coach a themed workout. We enjoyed some fun music, nostalgic trivia about the movie Jaws and a very competitive game of sharks of minnows, which was a riot! I think we may need to make that workout an annual tradition!
Did you know that Greenville Splash hosts the Upstate Splash Charity Open Water Swim every September? We are getting excited to host our 11th event! We have close to 200 swimmers come from all over the southeast to swim either 1.2 or 2.4 miles at Lake Jocassee. Upstate Splash is an all volunteer charity and the proceeds directly impact groups in our community. We give back to our partners to provide swim lessons for children and adults that are in need. Our mission is to prevent childhood drowning and raise awareness of water safety. We plan to continue to work with Aqua Angels and look forward to providing swim lessons to children with special needs this coming year.
Greenville Splash was thrilled to be featured in the June edition of Town Carolina Magazine! Check out our article and pictures below, click to page 59.

But
The pain was never greater than when I was battling addiction.
The pain was never greater than when I had to drop my kids off after visitation.
The pain was never greater than divorce.
The pain was never greater than the loss of my Dad and Laura within 8 weeks.
The pain was never greater than how my heart aches for those still in the struggle.
The pain was temporary but our choices are eternal.
Message me today with your prayer requests. I want to pray for you and with you.
