We are continuing to conduct emergency evacuation drills at PQ. These drills are an important part of helping students and staff understand how to respond calmly and safely in the event of an emergency.

We will have our first lockdown drill tomorrow morning.

Dominick included a classmate that wasn't talking with anyone at lunch. They continued a nice conversation that in turn included others!

Each morning at drop off, Emma assists in making sure the Library is safe and tidy by pushing in all the chairs.

Liam helped a classmate put on his jacket and helped close the snaps.

You can find SRO Erika Holze everywhere around PQ! When she's not outside running around with the students during recess, she's in the classroom reading to students (all while keeping us safe)! Officer Holze also brought back a PQ favorite this year, Junior Officers! Our Junior Officers have patrolled the school to ensure everything is in tip-top shape, checked the cameras, and explored the police vehicle to see what Officer Holze brings to school with her everyday!

October 8th - Picture Day

October 15th - Croton Falls Fire Department Visit

October 7th - Outhouse Orchards Field Trip

Back-to-school season brings students together, but the close contact in classrooms also accelerates the spread of seasonal germs. To ensure a healthy learning environment, the school nurse's office is open during all operational hours to assess students who feel unwell. Parents are strongly urged to keep children home if they exhibit symptoms of contagious illnesses to give them time to recover and to protect classmates.

Head Lice

Strep
