Science Connections
We have started our first unit of science on the weather and students are learning what weather is and where weather happens (in our atmosphere). Starting next week, your students will begin learning how to become Weather Detectives and look for evidence and make claims as to what is happening in the weather. To reinforce what they will learn, ask them to describe the four parts of the weather to you on any given day or surprise them by playing this Weather Song to them and ask what part of the song they like best.
By the way, if you have any magna tiles, lego people, or hot wheel cars you’d like to donate to the classroom, I am always willing to turn your trash into treasure! Thanks a ton…Mrs. Herron
