AIG Saturday Enrichment Events

Rowan-Salisbury School System's AIG Department is excited to offer in person Enrichment Events for the 2025-2026 school year. These enrichment events are for RSS AIG Identified students in grades 4-8. All events will be held at Horizons Unlimited on Saturday mornings from 9:00am-11:15 am and 1:00 pm-3:15 pm unless stated otherwise. The events are free of charge but will require an online sign up beforehand. Please confirm with each Enrichment event of the morning and afternoon times. Parents will need to provide transportation to and from the events.

Test your wits and teamwork as you grab your maps to race against time to crack codes, solve puzzles, and escape the pirate’s ship before it’s too late! Unleash your imagination and ingenuity in a hands-on activity that will have you designing, building, and innovating like a true pirate inventor.

The AIG department is cooking up something special!

At “The Gifted Gourmet Café,” students will step into a restaurant themed world of innovation and become chefs of creativity and servers of solutions.

Through an escape room and hands-on activities, they’ll design, experiment, and tackle real-world challenges of running a restaurant. This one-of-a-kind experience blends curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking into a day of learning that’s sure to satisfy their appetite for discovery.
