Sherman County School Newsletter - August
Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year
Believe it or not, we are just a few weeks away from the start of the 2026-27 school year. We are looking forward to welcoming students back to school soon! We hope everyone has had a fun, restful, and safe summer break and is ready to kick off our school year.
Our staff is grateful and proud of the foundation weโve built these past few years as a team, and we continue to be excited for the direction we are heading as a staff and school community. We are eager to continue the work of our strategic plan and the positive momentum that weโve collectively built over the past few years.
Please see the Strategic Plan Update section below for a recap of our strategic plan work to date, as well as a few key highlights for upcoming phases of the work.
The work ahead of us continues to be both challenging and inspiring. We appreciate the continued partnership in working alongside you as we strive to continuously improve in order to benefit our students. Our students depend on us and deserve the best; when we are at our best as a staff and school community, we can provide the best for our students.
We look forward to kicking off the 26-27 school year with you in a few weeks.
Letโs make it a great year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fall, Mrs. Bagwell, & Sherman County School Staff
