Jaguar Journal
October 1, 2026
Message from Mrs. Morgan:
As we begin October, I want to extend a huge THANK YOU to our families and community for your incredible support of our Jag Jog Fundraiser! Your generosity helped make this year’s fundraiser and Jag Jog a wonderful success. Mr. Greaves and I had so much fun racing our students throughout the day.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who donated, shared fundraising pages, and cheered on our students. More information will be coming soon about how the funds raised will be used to purchase new items and make improvements around our school.
Let’s keep a strong focus on academics and learning! One of the best ways to support your child is to read each night. Just 20 minutes of daily reading helps build fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence.
Thank you for partnering with us to help our Jaguars grow and succeed! 🐾
Congratulations Mr. Greaves!
Fresh News from the Kitchen
We are proud to share that our cafeteria received a Health Department Score of 100! A huge thank you to our amazing cafeteria team for keeping our kitchen clean, safe, and ready to serve our Jaguars each day!
Students are encouraged to enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch right here in our cafeteria each school day.
Did you know we offer fresh-baked cookies every day? Cookies are available for purchase along with our other snack options.
Keep Lunch Accounts Ready!

PBIS
At Sharon Elementary, we use PBIS – Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports – to help create a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment where all students can learn and grow. PBIS is a school-wide approach that focuses on teaching and encouraging positive behaviors. Just like students learn math or reading, we believe behavior should be taught, practiced, and celebrated!
As Jaguars, we ROAR. We are Respectful, Organized, Accepting, and Responsible. Please review and remind your child that we want to ROAR every day in the cafeteria, hallways, playground, and in the classroom. We have lots of fun plans for this school year to reward positive behaviors. The character trait for October is Tolerance.
PBIS December Reward Event: Winter Stations! Our next PBIS Reward Event is coming up on Friday, December 18, during scheduled Specials classes for 2nd through 5th grade! Students can earn their way to a fun-filled reward by demonstrating positive behavior. To attend, students must earn 180 PBIS points by the event date. Keep showing those great behaviors, and let’s celebrate together!
Upcoming PBIS Rewards for Pre-K through 1st Grade! We have two exciting PBIS celebration events coming up for our Pre-K through 1st-grade students:
November Reward (Bubbles & Chalk): Taking place on Friday, November 20. Students need 60 PBIS points to participate.
December Reward (Movie & Popcorn Party): Taking place on Friday, December 18. Students will need 45 PBIS points to attend.
Thank you for encouraging your children to demonstrate positive behavior every day to earn their points!
