April 2025
Principal's Message
As we conclude March, I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable Spring Break. It's essential to take time to recharge, and I trust that students, staff, and families found moments to relax and reconnect.
With our return, we're focusing on planning for the upcoming school year. Course request season is approaching, and we encourage students and families to reflect on their goals and interests for the future. Our staff is here to support and guide students through this process, ensuring they make informed choices that align with their aspirations and strengths.
Additionally, I want to inform you that Wolf Creek Public Schools will be distributing division-specific surveys in April. These surveys are designed to capture localized feedback, helping shape individual school growth and education plans. They cover areas such as learning satisfaction, respect, conduct, and expectations, providing valuable insights into our school's unique needs and achievements. Your participation is crucial in helping us maintain high standards and continuously improve the education and support we provide to our students. Please keep an eye out for these surveys and take a few moments to share your perspectives.
As always, thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to finishing the year strong and preparing for another successful year at Iron Ridge Secondary Campus.

Student Recognition
Taia U. and Keevah R. were our Shout Out draw winners for the month of February, and Remington S. was one winner for March. Students and staff can nominate students for a shout out to recognize them for doing something positive within our school. All students who receive shout outs are named at assembly and then entered into a monthly draw for prizes.
If you would like to sponsor a shout out prize, please let us know!
School Reach Update
Our School Reach team competed in the Regionals tournament at Ponoka Secondary Campus on March 15. They went undefeated in the round robin and made it to the finals. After a very close game, they finished second place and earned us a spot at Provincials. They will be competing at Hunting Hills on April 12th. Way to go, team!
