School Happenings
Butler Musical: Movie Mania - 3/21 & 3/22
Last week were the debut performances for Mr. Guenst's Musical Revue show, Movie Mania! So many 5th & 6th Graders joined the production - from set building, set design, artwork, stage crew - to chorus, leads, dancing, narrators and more... the opportunities vast and students contributed in varied ways!
Beginning in December/January, students worked before and/or after school in preparation for our premier nights. Wednesday saw our Dress Rehearsal in front of students - and the nerves were big (and that was just for Mr. Guenst!), but students were incredible and have much to be proud of with their performances. Our two-family performances took place the evenings of 3/21 & 3/22. We are so proud of our students and appreciative of our Musical Committee of teachers and staff - thanks to everyone who had a part in the entire production - Break a Leg!
Butler Musical: Music Mania - Backstage, Crews, and Preparations!
Many students and staff supported the production "behind" the scenes, as well! Thanks to all students, both the crew and ambassadors, for their contributions, excitement, and support!
Butler PTO Spring Fair - 3/16
CBSD Music Fest (Grade 3) at CB South
The annual Music Fest at CB South was attended by 3rd grades from across the South Cluster. Students were excited to hear the amazing talent and musical performances of our CB South students. Students were introduced to Southside A Capella (led by Joe Stellino), Chamber Orchestra (Scott Hensil), Jazz Band (Dan Myers, Butler Parent), the Doylestown School of Rock Band, and the Foreign Language Student Chinese Ribbon Dancers. It is a favorite event - Thank You CBSD Department of Music and CB South!
Butler Spirit Day - Rock Your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day!
On March 21st, Butler School "rocked" colorful, patterned, mismatched socks to honor World Down Syndrome Day!
