What an exciting week at St. Joe’s! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Teddy Bear Raffle. Also a big shout out to the many parents and volunteers who have given their time and energy to prepare for this weekend’s Fall Carnival. Events like these are a wonderful reminder of what makes our St. Joe’s community so special! We can’t wait to welcome our families, friends, and neighbors to campus this Saturday for an evening of fun and fellowship!
We also want to take a moment to rally around David DeNino and his family. David is a beloved member of our greater community who is facing a very difficult time, and friends and loved ones have created a support page to help his family with the needs ahead. We invite our St. Joe’s families to learn more about David’s story, keep him and his family in your prayers, and consider supporting them if you are able.

This week is a beautiful reminder of what community is all about—celebrating together, serving together, and showing up for one another when it matters most. We are grateful for each of you and look forward to seeing you Saturday!

SJPA Updates
🎄 Help Us Create the St. Joe’s Christmas Tree! 🎄
Join us in bringing a little St. Joe’s Christmas spirit to the St. Alphonsus Festival of Trees! We’re looking for volunteers to help plan, create, and decorate our school’s tree.
The time commitment is simple: a one-hour meeting in October, a one-hour meeting in November, and decorating the tree on Sunday, November 22.
We'll also have ornament creation during school hours that will need some volunteers.
Come be part of this fun holiday tradition and help us create something special that represents our St. Joe’s community!
By entering your name and email below, you’ll be added to the committee. We’ll reach out by email with next steps, including getting the committee started and setting expectations for participation.
Please sign up by September 29th. Sign up here
🍻 Join Us for a Volunteer Social - October 6th
Come hang out with fellow St. Joe’s parents and learn how you can get involved! Join us at Payette Brewing on October 6 from 5–6:30 PM for an evening of socializing, complimentary drinks, and a look at some of our upcoming volunteer opportunities.
We’ll share details about ways to help with:
🎃 Trunk or Treat
🏃 Fun Run
🦀 Crab Feed
Drink tickets will be provided, and food trucks will be available onsite for those who would like to grab a bite.
Whether you’re looking to connect or just curious about getting involved, we’d love to see you! Come grab a drink, meet other St Joe's families, and find a volunteer opportunity that works for you.
We hope to see you there!
