We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our community didn’t just meet our Literati Book Fair goal—we blew right past it! Thanks to your incredible support, we exceeded our goal of 500 books sold. Every book purchased means more resources for our library and a deeper love for reading in our halls. To celebrate this "novel" achievement, all students have earned a Free Dress Day on Wednesday, February 18!

This Month's Topic: Get to know our Executive Director, Travis Hargreaves

Join us for a morning of coffee, donuts, and community building! This month, we’re featuring a special session to get to know our Executive Director, Travis Hargreaves. Whether you’re meeting him for the first time or a familiar face coming to say hello, we invite you to come connect with our CCA community!

Keep in mind, this is your time to connect. You are always welcome to ask questions or share thoughts on any topic, regardless of the monthly theme.

Cherry Creek Academy's 8th Grade will participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. NAEP is the largest nationally representative and continuing assessment of what students know and can do in various subjects. NAEP is administered by the National Center for Education Statistics, within the U.S. Department of Education. NAEP is different from our state assessments because it is a common measure of achievement across the country.

To ensure our students are prepared, Chromebooks will remain at CCA on Monday, February 23.

We are launching a Debate Club for 7th and 8th grade students! Join us on Tuesdays to help be a part of founding this new club at CCA.

We know that purchasing uniforms is a significant investment for our families, and we want to gather feedback on your experience with our new uniform provider, Lands' End. Please take a couple of minutes to answer this brief survey. Your input on product quality, value, customer experience is essential for our ongoing evaluation of this partnership.

Highlights include approval of the amended 2025-2026 school year budget, approval of VR headsets to be purchased with funds raised by the Foundation, and committee meeting updates.

Know a high school senior interested in applying for the CCA Foundation Scholarship? Each year, the Cherry Creek Academy Foundation awards a one-time academic scholarship of $1,000 to a high school senior who attended CCA. If you know a graduating senior who is interested in applying for this year's scholarship award to support future studies, please encourage them to make sure their current email address is on file in PowerSchool at My.cherrycreekschools.org.

CCA alumni graduating in 2025 should expect to receive instructions via email on how to apply for the CCA Foundation scholarship by mid-March. Seniors no longer in the Cherry Creek District remain eligible and may email their contact information to scholarshipcommittee@cherrycreekacademy.org.

We are thrilled to announce the return of one of our most beloved traditions: The CCA Multicultural Festival. This year, we are taking our community on a global journey, focusing on the experience of sharing cultures, traditions, and authentic cuisines from every corner of the world.

A New Way to Celebrate

To ensure every student has the opportunity to participate, the highlight of the day will be our All-School Assembly from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, where the entire CCA family will gather to witness the incredible talents of our student performers.

Spaces are limited this year, so we encourage early registration!
