Winter Break Classroom Party Volunteers - Sign-up Closes Dec. 2

To indicate your interest in volunteering for a Winter Break party, complete this form, which will close on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at midnight. At the end of the sign-up period, the District will create a schedule of coverage for every classroom at both schools.

Inclement Weather and Emergency Closings

Our region has entered the time of year when weather may have the greatest impact on District operations. The decision to keep schools open or to close due to weather is taken very seriously. Please review the Emergency Closing Information document available on our website.

Please also view the District’s e-Learning Plan, which may be implemented on a day when physical school cannot be held because of inclement weather. The decision to use the e-Learning Plan will be based on timing, severity, and duration of winter weather. Families are encouraged to discuss what an e-Learning day would look like at home should the District need to implement that plan.

Thank You!

PALS would like to say thank you to the incredible students, teachers, staff, volunteers, and families of SD74 for making the 2025 SD74 PALS Book Fair such a wonderful success. We are especially grateful to Dr. Russo, Mr. Atkinson, Mr. Segreti, Dr. Ibrahim, Dr. Harmon, Jackie McGoey, Mrs. LaRosa, Mrs. Krikorian, Henry Sopala, Steve Tracy, Tom Bujnowski, Jordan Stephen, and Jason Bahn for their generous time, support, and partnership throughout the event. The collective effort of the SD74 community created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

PALS would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to GCF, Studio GC, Choppers Restaurant, A+J Heating and Plumbing, and the Yakey family for their generous donations, which directly supported and enriched the book fair experience for our students. By working together, we created an inspiring atmosphere that uplifted the love of reading and emphasized how important literacy is to our community. Thank you for making this year's book fair truly successful!

eWallet reminder

If your student had an eWallet during the book fair, there’s still time to use any remaining funds! Families have until November 23 to spend leftover balances online. After that date, any unused funds will roll over until the next year's book fair. Shop the Todd Hall and Rutledge Hall website or the Lincoln Hall website. Thank you for supporting our book fair and encouraging a love of reading!

Restaurant Giveback Nights

Save the dates! Support PALS throughout the year on scheduled giveback nights at your favorite local eateries.
