Bulldog Bulletin
Week of 3/2/25

Principal's Greeting
Dear Churchill Families,
Welcome to March and the start of Trimester 3! With just 12 weeks remaining before summer break, we have an exciting and busy trimester ahead. This period will be filled with various activities such as IAR (Illinois Assessment of Readiness) Testing in reading and math, engaging assemblies, the Glow Run, Family Math and Reading Night, and much more!
Report cards will be available for viewing on Wednesday, March 12th. IAR testing will take place from Monday, March 17th through Friday, March 21st. Please ensure that your student gets plenty of rest the night before each test and enjoys a nutritious breakfast to help them perform their best.
Additionally, March is Women's History Month, and to honor this, we will be making special announcements each day to celebrate the incredible women who have shaped the history of the United States.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Peacock

Art Aprons and Smocks are Needed!
Art Room in Need of Aprons & Smocks
We are currently accepting donations of aprons and very large adult button-up shirts to use as smocks. If you have any old shirts or aprons that you can donate, please drop them off in the main office labeled for Mrs. Siegler, Art Teacher. Thank you for your generosity and continued support for our art program!
Attendance Matters
We are excited to welcome our students to school each day! To maintain a healthy school environment, please keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell. Timely attendance is crucial—frequent tardiness or early departures disrupt the learning experience for all students. We encourage you to support your child's success by ensuring they have a consistent routine, eat nutritious meals, and get plenty of rest.
For any attendance-related matters, please be sure to communicate directly with your child’s teacher and the main office. Thank you for your cooperation in helping our students stay engaged and on track!
