Thankful Thursday

At our Mass of the Holy Spirit, we sang “Here I Am, Lord”, a hymn that always touches my heart. As a parent and educator, I hope our children will hear God’s call in their lives and have the courage to answer, “Here I am, Lord...I will go, Lord, if you lead me.” Check out the story behind the hymn here!

This connects so beautifully to our theme of letting our light shine! When we respond to God with open hearts, His light shines through us in ways big and small. My prayer is for each of our students (and families!) to carry this hymn’s message into daily life, letting God’s love guide the way. Just as our students and children are learning to share their light, we as families are invited to do the same at home and in our community.

What a gift to be reminded of God's calling for us, and respond with open hearts!

For middle school students, an adult must complete the sign-up on their behalf. Students may volunteer in the Game Booths only. Adults are welcome to sign up for any of the volunteer roles available. It earns your student an out of uniform (date TBD)!

Volunteer opportunities can be found here!
