Weekly Update

Thank you to all of the friends and family members who joined us for Thanksgiving lunch. It was a well attended community event that our staff and students loved! Our Adopt-a-Unit made our event extra special by coming here to help serve the Thanksgiving yummies! If you would like to see more photos from the event, please visit our Facebook page at @WillowSprings_Bluejays .

Has your child been to Jiji's freezer with Mr.Washington yet? If not, how much further do they need to go on their journey in STmath? STmath will help fill in missing gaps in math and also accelerate those who are ready. There are more frosty treats in Jiji's freezer for when the other students reach the goal!

Little Blue Jays Early Literacy Club is available for parents and children 3-4 years of age who are not enrolled in an elementary school. This program aims to promote early literacy skills in preschool-age children and create a solid foundation for later school success. Together we will sing songs, listen to stories, and do fun arts and crafts activities. Our club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. unless there is testing state testing on campus. There will not be Little Blue Jays this Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

For enrollment questions or more information, please do not hesitate to contact Crystal Overall at 254-336-2020 or by email at: crystal.overall@killeenisd.org.

TARDY

After 8:05 a.m. students are counted tardy. An adult needs to accompany the students to the front office and sign him/her in. Please use the computer station located in the foyer. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe. If a child arrives late, they must bring a doctor's note for it to be excused. Otherwise, the instructional time missed will count against the student.

SIGN-IN & EARLY DISMISSAL PROCEDURE

To sign in or check out students, please use the computer station in the foyer. Follow the instructions on the prompt and then proceed to the front office once you have your ticket.
