Letters From Leadership
August 20, 2026
Dear Families,
As we kick off a new school year, it’s always fun to take a look back at everything our students, staff, families, and community accomplished together last year.
Our 2025–2026 Annual Report highlights what made the year special, from strong academics and athletic accomplishments to the incredible generosity of our community.
Last year, SkyView Academy raised more than $227,000, bringing our total raised since inception to nearly $2.5 million! Those dollars went right back into SkyView, helping us expand student opportunities, enhance classroom learning, improve campus safety, update technology, increase sustainability, and provide professional development opportunities for our staff.
We also have so much to celebrate when it comes to our incredible students. SkyView achieved a 100% graduation rate, with our graduating seniors earning $6.4 million in scholarships. Our students continued to exceed state standards across several academic areas, while our athletes made history with every varsity sport sending a team or individual to state competition for the first time in SkyView history. Well done, Hawks!
These are just a few highlights; we encourage you to look through the Annual Report to see more of what our community helped make possible.
What’s Ahead This Year
As we look toward 2026–2027, we are excited to continue building on last year's momentum.
Our first major fundraiser of the year will be our annual PreK-5 Field Day FUNdraiser in September. This highly anticipated event is always a fun way for our preschool and elementary community to get involved while raising funds that directly support SkyView.
In December, we’ll hold our Annual Campaign, which aligns with Colorado Gives Day, giving families, grandparents, alumni, businesses, and friends of SkyView another opportunity to support our school.
You may notice one event missing from this year’s calendar—the Gala! The Big Event Gala is traditionally held every other year, and we look forward to another great event in 2027–2028!
We are incredibly thankful for the many ways our community supports SkyView. Whether you donate, volunteer, attend an event, share a fundraiser, or simply help spread the word, it all makes a difference.
We’re looking forward to another great year and can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!
Proud to be a Hawk,
Sarah Powell

Senior Painting of Reserved Spots
Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8 am to 11:00 am - students are responsible for bringing their own paint and painting supplies. In the past, students have brought inexpensive rollers and paint brushes that can be discarded at the end of painting. Students have used different types of paint, and they all seem to hold up the same. A suggestion would be to go to a local paint or hardware store and ask the paint department. Special paint, UV paint, can also be purchased from Amazon, along with sealants.

6th Grade Outdoor Ed is Coming!
Outdoor Education is a three-day program that will take place from Tuesday, September 15 – Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Students will:
