Distinguished Alums Class of 2025
St. Charles Mayor Clint Hull presented the School Board with details about this year's D303 Distinguished Alumni Class of 2025 celebration that was held on November 13 at the Lincoln Professional Learning Center.
Celebrating Outstanding High School Student Athletes and Science Educators
Joe Benoit, Athletic Director at St. Charles North High School, introduced two outstanding North High School student athletes for recognition and celebration: Haley Burgdorf, who has been named Under Armor Volleyball All-American and Lucas Tenbrock, a football Navy All-American.
Matt Jefferey, Assistant Principal at East High School, introduced two outstanding educators who have been recognized as leaders in the field of high school science: Steve Matthies, who has been named Illinois Science Teachers Association’s High School Teacher of the Year, and Matt Bulman, who has been elected as the Region 1 Director for the Illinois Science Teaching Association.
Attendance Campaign Update
Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education Audra Christenson and Family & Community Liaison Atlee Smith presented the School Board with an update on the D303 Attendance Campaign, including data on attendance trends and the results of a student survey.
