A Note from Mr. Morris

Lakeview Families,

As we move through September, I want to take a moment to celebrate the positive energy on our campus. Lakeview students are settling into routines, diving into learning, and continuing to grow each day. This upcoming week is Kindness Week in Lewisville ISD and it’s a great reminder that even small acts can have a big impact.

For me, Kindness Week serves as a reminder of how important it is to pause and celebrate the good happening all around us; it’s also a chance to put KINDNESS into ACTION!

I encourage you to take part in our kindness movement:

  • Parents & Families – Consider filling out a Recognize Someone form to honor a Lakeview staff member or share a note of appreciation for a teacher who has made a difference.

  • Students – We invite you to be kind to your peers by including others or speaking words of encouragement throughout the day.

Together, these small acts build a stronger and more caring learning community.Thank you for partnering with Lakeview. I’m proud of the way our students and staff continue to lead with kindness and I look forward to the week ahead. #LifeIsBetterAtTheLake

With gratitude,
Matthew L. Morris, Principal

Nurse Consent Form

As a reminder, all families received a communication related to the new Health Consent form required by SB 12.

LISD families are required to complete back-to-school forms each year in Skyward Family Access. For 2025–26, the packet now includes a new Nurse Consent form required by Senate Bill 12. This form must be submitted by Sept. 1, 2025 for your child to receive care from the school nurse for illness or injury. Even if you have already completed your forms, please log back in to Skyward to review and submit this new consent.

Fan Behavior

Lewisville ISD has high expectations of our student athletes, but we also have high expectations of our fans. Please view the below fan behavior guidelines before attending any LISD athletic event:

  • No outside food or drink. Water is permitted, but must be in its original container. No insulated tumblers, fast food cups, personal water bottles, etc.
  • No backpacks
  • Applaud and cheer for your team
  • Support coaches, players and officials:
    • No profanity of any kind is allowed
    • No individual taunting of players
    • No throwing of objects
    • No taunting of officials
    • Never approach an official at any point
  • If fans cannot adhere to the above guidelines, the following will result:
    • Individuals will be asked to leave
    • Individuals may be escorted out by appropriate school designee or law enforcement
    • Individuals may be suspended from attending future athletic events

Additionally, our campus can be disciplined by the UIL for fan infractions, so please help to maintain a respectful environment for our families and community.

Food Deliveries

Food Deliveries must be secured and labeled with the student’s name and grade level. Students will not be called out of class for deliveries, and the campus will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced deliveries. Student pick-up of delivered items can only happen before/after school and during passing periods.

  • Food deliveries from a restaurant or delivery service for students are not permitted under any circumstances. They will be turned away.
  • Lunch deliveries may only be made by a student’s parent/guardian. Lunch deliveries should be made prior to the start of the lunch periods so that students can retrieve food during the passing period. Lunch deliveries will not be accepted during STAAR, TELPAS, EOC, AP, or other testing days.
  • Afternoon/Athletic/Fine Arts Dinner Deliveries may only be made by a student’s parent/guardian. They should be made between 3:30-4:00. Each program will have a wagon/table to leave your student's delivery. Items will be brought into the building at 4:00, prior to dismissal. All deliveries are subject to search.

SPECIAL NOTE- No student is denied Lunch at LVMS. Students without their ID (or a temporary ID) at lunch can still eat. They may wait to get into the lunch line after students with their IDs.

Please email your student at their @go.lisd.net account to notify

them of items that have been dropped off

If a student's account goes negative in balance, students are allowed to charge up to 5 reimbursable breakfasts and 5 reimbursable lunches. Students are not allowed to charge for a la carte purchases at any time. Non-students, including adults, teachers and staff, will not be allowed to charge at any time. In addition, notices of low and deficient balance will be sent to parents/guardians at regular intervals during the school year. Parents/guardians are also able to set up further notifications and monitor balances at lewisville.revtrak.net. If financial hardship exists, parents and families are encouraged to apply for free or reduced-price meals for their child throughout the school year.

Every day counts: Be Present for the Future

A new school year means new opportunities—and it all starts with showing up. Whether it’s learning to read, mastering math, or building friendships, success happens one day at a time. Strong attendance builds strong habits. Every class counts, and every day your child is in school sets the stage for tomorrow’s achievements. Let’s make this year the one where we all show up—ready to learn, ready to grow, and ready to succeed. Together, we can help every student build momentum for the future. For details, click HERE.
