Dear Pingree Community,
Happy Sunday!
Thank you Mallory Stevens and the entire parent council for a really fun STEAM night last Thursday (our Picture of the Week)! The kids (and Mrs. Landers and I) had a blast launching Sweethearts, making coding bracelets, building marshmallow towers and more!
We also celebrated the 100th day of school this week (Wednesday for grades 1-5 and Friday for Kindergarten). We had very cute 100 year-olds all over our school as well some fun 100 day projects. As a school, we brainstormed 100 ways we show kindness everyday at Pingree.
Tuesday is both a half-day (11:50am dismissal) and Valentine's Day! Please do not send any food or candy in with students.
As a reminder, if your child's class has a designated working snack time, please be sure to send in one healthy snack and water only. We are seeing in increase in the amount of unhealthy snacks students are eating. Having healthy snacks will help ensure students are alert and ready to continue their learning instead of feeling tired and sluggish at school.
Lot's of other great information below! Check it all out!
We hope you have a great week!

Pop Up Pantry- A message from our Food Pantry Partners!
We know a lot of families are feeling financial strain these days. Below is a link to our Pop Up Pantry calendar. Families can get food on a weekly basis, no questions asked and no reporting. Tuesday's are drive through (nice and quick and easy for folks with kids in the car), Thursday and Saturday are walk-in. We also have a Portuguese translator available on Saturdays.
