Tiger Talk

We are ready to roll out the welcome mat EFFECTIVE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, for those of you who are asked by classroom teachers to come to the campus to serve as their volunteers and for those of you who wish to have lunch with their Tiger(s) during their lunchtime. Please remember to always bring your photo ID with you when visiting our campus. Your photo ID must be scanned each time you visit us.

If joining your Tiger(s) for lunch, please remember to avoid taking any photos or videos that would include anyone other than your own family. You are welcome to bring food in with you provided that you do not share it with any Tigers other than your own child(ren.) We have parent/Tiger tables on the stage reserved for your seating. Please remember that your lunchtime visitor badge authorizes you access ONLY to and from the Tiger's Den (aka Cafeteria.)

Here are our lunch times:

Kindergarten.........11:25 to 11:55

1st Grade..............12:50 to 1:20

2nd Grade.............11:50 to 12:20

3rd Grade..............10:55 to 11:25

4th Grade..............10:25 to 10:55

5th Grade..............12:25 to 12:55

I'm looking forward to seeing you Tuesday evening, September 2, for our Curriculum Night!

With warmest regards,

Curriculum Night is a PARENT ONLY event, please. Please make other arrangements for child care for the evening's sessions. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you Tuesday, September 2.

Tigers demonstrating PAWSitive behavior are nominated to have their names added to our WOW Board. WOW Board members are then eligible to win a fun brag tag and Buddy Pass. The Buddy Pass entitles each WOW Board member to enjoy lunch on the stage with a buddy of his/her choice.

This photo is of our WOW Board #1 for the 2025-2026 school year. Congratulations, Tigers!

Can't make it in person? No worries! We will live stream the event on our PTO Facebook page.

We have a new campus visitor/volunteer security system that requires your photo ID to be scanned each time you need to obtain a visitor or volunteer badge for building entry. The good news is that you no longer have to take the time to type in your name at the visitor kiosks, and the system prints your badge in a matter of seconds. The bad news is that you must have your photo ID and scan it every time you come because, for security purposes, this new system does not retain your ID information.

Contact Coach Williams or Coach Mayes to share the good news about new shoe-tying talents!

Missing 10% of learning time, about 2 days each month, over the course of a school year can make it harder to

1. gain early reading and math skills
2. build relationships
3. develop good attendance habits.

Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit in elementary so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day, is important.

Dear Lake Travis ISD Staff and Parents/Guardians,

Registration for our After School Fall Enrichment opens Monday, August 18. Explore a wide array of class offerings designed to cater to various interests, spanning from Prekindergarten through high school. Our classes feature dedicated instruction after school from LTISD staff members and meticulously-selected contractors to ensure a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Regular registration will be available through Sunday, September 7. Late registration will occur Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, and will incur a $35 fee. There are no registrations after September 12. To prioritize the safety of our campers, all rosters must be finalized in advance, enabling Community Programs to plan for staffing, allocate space, and procure supplies accordingly. Classes begin the week of September 29.

Learn more about the diverse range of classes available and register your child online. We look forward to providing services that will enrich the young minds in our district!

Sincerely,

Suzi Menfi
