A Special Farewell to Principal Jeff Morgan
Handy Elementary gave our awesome Principal Jeff Morgan a heartfelt clap-out through our hallways. Students and staff cheered him on, showing just how loved and appreciated he is.
Thank you, Mr. Morgan, for your leadership, kindness, and for always caring about our Handy community. We wish you the very best in your new role at the district. You will be missed, and you will always have open arms waiting for you at Handy Elementary. Congratulations on this exciting new chapter!
April was a field-trip kind of month! From the OC Fire Department visit, to Discovery Cube, to the Water Festival, our Handy students had a busy and exciting month full of learning and fun.
We are so grateful for these wonderful opportunities and for the amazing Handy teachers and staff who make these experiences possible for our students. Handy teachers rock!
OC Hub Official Inauguration
The HUB had their official opening in April. Congratulations to the Hub. They have been a huge support to our Orange USD community schools. Congratulations, keep it going, and thank you so much for all the support you provide to us and all of our Orange community.
Laura's House Presented - Self-Care & Stress Management Workshop
We had a wonderful workshop with Laura’s House on self-care and stress management. Families learned simple ways to relax, breathe, and better understand how stress affects our health. When we take care of ourselves, we are better able to support our students, our families, and our overall well-being.
