6th grade January Student of the Month: Idalyz Rivera
Idalyz was nominated by one of her teachers who shared, "She is a very hard worker. She tackles her work head on in spite of any difficulties. She is so helpful with our students who are learning English. She translates for them and clarifies directions. She is kind and assertive. I just adore her!"

7th grade January Student of the Month: Emely Armentero
A staff member that nominated Emely had this to say: "Emely is such a great student. She is always on top of her assignments, participating in class discussion, and working super hard. I often see her helping out other students with anything from classwork, to finding papers in their backpack, or giving them a pencil. She is always willing to lend a helping hand." 8th grade January Student of the Month: Luna Fuentes
Luna was nominated by several staff members! They shared, "Luna is a new student that has come in with very limited English and has truly excelled with all of her hard work. She puts forth 100% every day!" and "Even with the language barrier, Luna has worked very hard and become part of the Eagle family. I am truly impressed by her grit and determination."
