This Week at Amenia Free Library

As we enter the last week of August, summer is winding down at the Library! Summer Reading is coming to an end and the MHLS Road Trip is continuing to bring patrons from other libraries to Amenia.

At the beginning of summer, our Library app was launched! This is your one-stop app, where you can access your library account, Libby, hoopla, and place holds. The app can be downloaded from your app store, just search for 'Mid-Hudson Libraries'.

Keep an eye on our September Calendar, which will be published on Thursday, August 28th!

We'll be starting a Supper Club with Chef Lenny Sutton, on Wednesday, September 3rd. Our first gathering will be Breakfast for Dinner, where participants bring a different food/meal related to the theme. Also, we'll have several crafting programs throughout the month.

Women in World War II

Join us on Tuesday, August 26th, at 5:00pm, as we welcome Dick Muggeo!

He will present on the roles of women in seven countries during WWII and share his adventure into building a list of women in Greene County that participated in the war.

The Plot Thickens Book Club

Join us on Wednesday, August 27th, at 6:00pm, for the next meeting of the Plot Thickens Book Club!

We'll be discussing Bad Summer People by Emma Rosenblum.
