Dear Browning Families-

Just a quick reminder that today, September 5, is the last day to purchase our technology insurance. Please see the form below as it is recommended/suggested to cover any incidentals this school year. Students did a great job this week! A very special thank you to our lunch/recess volunteers who supported our students this week at school.

CURRICULUM UPDATE: Next week, is our first full week of class. We began our BOARD approved new ELA curriculum in K-5 called the CKLA program. Students will continue to work through the new routines and procedures. Our students will also begin assessing on NWEA testing for the next few weeks.

STAFFING UPDATE: We would like to remind you that our staffing information is available to you on our school's website and has been updated. We would like to welcome the following new staff members to Browning:

The cost of device insurance is $20.00 per student.The initial fee to purchase device insurance can be paid online using your checking account, debit card or credit card through PaySchools. The link to PaySchools is the same for ALL schools: https://www.payschoolscentral.com/.

• (Important - it is not recommended to NOT use the app as it does not properly support UCS content).
• Search for Technology Device Insurance

Note to new kindergarten families and families new to the district - You will need to first create the PaySchools account for your family.

• Complete the account registration by selecting register, enter your profile details, setting up your password via the email link that will be sent to you, then logging in.
• Add your children to your account using their student ID numbers. ID numbers are found in PowerSchool, and on their report card available through PowerSchool.
• If you like, enter credit card and/or banking information as forms of payments to use with your PaySchools account.

Please note that the final date to enroll in the optional device insurance plan is Friday, September 5th.

Families, please check this page for any DIGITAL forms you may need regarding: asthma, seizures, special dietary needs, allergies, and more. I have attached a few forms below as well.

Please remember:

• One AUTHORIZATION FORM is required for EVERY medicine your child has at school.
• Students are not allowed to self-carry pills of any kind at school.
• A bus form will also need to be filled out as that you will need to complete a bus form regarding any allergies, medications, etc.
• It is recommended to share your health concerns with your child's teacher as well as front office staff.
