School of Excellence Survey Series: Your Feedback Matters!
As part of our School of Excellence process, we will be conducting a series of surveys over the next six weeks. Each week, a new survey will be available. Please note that not all surveys are specifically designed for parents, and you might come across questions that don't apply to your perspective, and that's perfectly okay! We still encourage you to offer feedback where possible.
If you're unsure how to answer a particular question, simply select the option "N" (No basis for judgment). Your input is invaluable, and every bit of feedback helps make this process more meaningful.
Thank you for your support and involvement in helping us grow and improve!
Watertown-Mayer Family Calendar Survey
You should have gotten an email this week with the survey information.
WM prefers one survey to be completed per household.
The Watertown-Mayer school district is looking at school calendar changes for next year to help support academic success. As a result, Watertown-Mayer Public School is surveying current families grades Pre-K-12 regarding potential school calendar options. The district will compile the results of the survey for consideration in building the 2025-2026 school year calendar.
SNACKS NEEDED!!!
The Royals Room supply of snacks is almost gone. Please consider making a donation. See the link below for ideas or to order off of Amazon and have them delivered right to the Elementary School. These snacks are distributed to students in our building on a daily basis. Individually bagged snacks work best as they are easy to distribute. Thank you in advance for your help in filling our snacks!
Save The Date: Family Glow Fest
WMES PTO invites you to the first family night of the school year. We are excited to have you attend Glo Fest!! Please bring in individually bagged snack items for our Royals Room.

School Breakfast & Lunch
The Minnesota Free School Meals Program is now permanent!
- What does this mean? Students can receive their first standard breakfast and lunch for FREE!
- What do I need to remember? If students go back for a second full meal, additional entrees, side items, or a la carte, these DO cost extra based on the item. If your child has permission to get extras, please be sure that there is money in their lunch account. This includes milk to accompany any home lunches.
HERE is the link for the updated cost of full second breakfast, lunch, and the approximate costs of a la carte items.
Have You Applied for Educational Benefits?
Even though the Minnesota Free Meals Program is permanent, we strongly encourage families to apply to see if you are eligible for educational benefits through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Educational benefit applications (Free and Reduced applications) impact the educational funding that our schools receive and can affect other additional fees.
HERE is the link to our website to learn about how you can apply!
