COVID-19 Testing

Aldine ISD has partnered with the City of Houston’s Health Department to provide free on-campus COVID-19 testing to Thompson Elementary School students and staff. The next COVID-19 test (PCR) will be given on February 3, 2022. with results given in 24 hours.

This test is noninvasive and a light nasal swab that will help detect COVID-19 quickly to help stop outbreaks early. Regular testing is a safe, effective way to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and help schools remain open for in-person learning.

If you are interested in your child participating in the testing program, please click here https://aldinecovid19pcr.paperform.co/ to sign up and to consent. Once you complete and sign the consent document, your child is approved to be tested at any time the tests are given at their campus. This applies to staff members as well.

We are excited about this opportunity to help our students and staff remain well, and our schools safe to remain open. For more information, you can visit the City of Houston School Testing Program Website by clicking here or contact the Health Services Department at 281-985-6955.
