Cavaliers,

Our UIL Academics team delivered a historic performance at their recent competition hosted at Baylor University, earning record-breaking results and continuing a tradition of excellence!

As a team, College Park finished 3rd overall in Sweepstakes, just 4 points shy of 1st place, an incredible accomplishment against top competition from across the region.

Even more exciting, 8 of our students have qualified for the State Tournament in May, where they will look to defend our State Title and build on last year’s success. We are incredibly proud of their dedication, preparation, and performance.

Individual Results:

  • Sarah Synek – Regional Champion, Informative Speaking
  • Pimchanok Pawathikul – 3rd Place Informative Speaking (State Qualifier)
  • Rudra Sharma – 4th Place Informative Speaking (State Alternate)
  • Luke Liu – Regional Champion, Persuasive Speaking
  • Sahil Kulkarni – 3rd Place Current Issues & Events (State Qualifier); 4th Place Persuasive Speaking (Alternate)
  • Juliet Loftis – Regional Champion, Poetry Interpretation
  • Sofia Rice – 2nd Place Poetry Interpretation (State Qualifier)
  • Saketh Komaragiri – Regional Champion, Biology
  • Ashlyn Houston – 2nd Place News Writing (State Qualifier); 5th Place Feature Writing (Alternate)
  • Violet Pullan – 4th Place Editorial Writing

This is truly an outstanding achievement for our UIL Academics program and a testament to the hard work of our students and coaches.

Please join me in congratulating these incredible Cavaliers, and wishing them the best as they prepare to compete at the State level!

Congratulations to our two Cavaliers of the Week, Mrs. Odonnell and Mrs. Florian!

We are proud to recognize Nancy as this week’s Cavalier of the Week! Her exceptional organization, attention to detail, and dedication have been on full display as she has successfully coordinated and scheduled five EOC exams. Managing testing on this scale is no small task, but Nancy has handled it with professionalism and precision, ensuring a smooth experience for both students and staff. Her hard work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed, and our campus is better because of her commitment. Thank you, Nancy, for all that you do!

This week, we are excited to celebrate Mary Lou as our Cavalier of the Week! Cavalier Compass is a weekly video from our school counseling team, shared with all students during their Wednesday advisory. Its purpose is to provide resources, encouragement, and real-life skills that support students both in and out of the classroom. Topics range from study habits and course planning to mental health awareness, healthy lifestyles, and digital citizenship. Our goal is to connect with students in a fun, positive way while giving them tools to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

If you have any questions about Cavalier Compass, please reach out to our lead counselor, Kasey Lucas (kllucas@conroeisd.net).

Our 24-25 attendance rate was: 94.8%. Our goal for 25-26 is 98%!

CPHS wants All Cavaliers to Achieve. A large part of student success is related to student attendance. We want to teach our Cavs all we can in the days that we have with them. Please encourage your student to attend every period to gain the knowledge they need to be successful. In the event your child does miss school, please be sure to email our attendance office or see the new Student Absence Reporting App information below. Also, please remind your child to get with their teacher about any work they missed. We would also like to remind you that your child will be at risk of losing credit and parents/guardians may have to go to court due to attendance.
