Purple Rain

In Art 2, I have designed a color wheel with creativity. I decided to turn my color wheel into a girl holding an umbrella. I decided to name it Purple Rain in relations to the late singer, Prince. I thought that would be a really cool idea along with a relative poem. I really did not have a vision I just made decisions as I went.

Limited Flowers

For my Quarter 2 project, I decided to limited palette painting. With limited palette painting, ONLY use 3 different colors of your choice to make other color using the 3 colors of your choice. I chose limited palette painting because I found it more difficult and challenging to do. Simply because, when you have created a piece of work and want to add color you would want to color with many choices. But, with this type of art your challenge is designing with only 3 colors which is difficult. My overall vision was to create a painting of flowers. Personally, I love flowers. The colors I chose were to have a specific meaning pertaining to myself. Flowers represent a sign of peace to me. I am most proud of this project as well because even though it looks simple it took a lot of time and patience to design and mix colors.

Mixed Hindi

This is my Q3 project. I designed a mixed media art piece of a hindu elephant. My inspiration behind this was to create a design from my background that actually has meaning.

My Growth as an Artist

Through these last 4 years of art, I have learned that in Art is an expression and representation of you and how you want to create. Through all projects that I have created, I found that I really enjoy putting my personal background into my work as a form of expression. My growth as an artist have been way better by stepping outside my comfort zone creating new and different types of artwork using different materials.

Future Art coming?

I am not sure if I will becoming an artist in my future, but I do know that I will use all my knowledge and skills of Art that was taught to me if needed for further use.

Inspirational Art

I don't have a specific type of Art that is inspirational to me. This is because when creating Art no matter what you do and how you express yourself it will always be inspirational to you because it is what you created.
