Attention Seniors and Juniors who are currently licensed and insured drivers and would like to purchase a parking permit for the 26-27 school year: We will begin accepting applications for parking permits during the first week of school. Due to the limited number of spaces available, eligibility for passes are determined based on a number of factors including current grade, CCST and/or apprenticeship enrollment, senior option, extra curricular activities, and individual or family needs. Any student who receives a parking pass will also be required to take part in the Teen Impaired Driving Prevention Initiative, sponsored by Drug Free Cecil and the Youth Empowerment Source. Students who are currently licensed and insured drivers may park in the lots along the strip and adjacent the stadium and gymnasium until Friday, September 18th. After that point, only students with a permit will be allowed to park at NEHS.

Applications for Parking Passes, as well as the information about the Teen Impaired Driving Prevention Initiative, will be available in the main office. Senior applications are due by Tuesday, September 8th. Junior applications will be accepted by Friday, September 11th, space allowing. Students who are approved to drive to school will pay a $10 fee and receive a parking permit to place in their vehicle at the time of approval.

Travel to Away Sporting Events: Additionally, it is the CCPS and NEHS expectation that all athletes will utilize school-based transportation to away sporting events. If there are extenuating circumstances that require an alternative plan, please reach out to Ms. Lehr (kblehr@ccps.org).

New Opportunity through Cecil County Parks and Recreation: Cecil County Parks and Recreation is starting a NEHS Boys Volleyball Club. This is not a CCPS sponsored athletic team but is open to CCPS students. Please click here for more information.
